TWO WAYS - BY APPOINTMENT OR BY DROP-OFF MONDAYS
1. BY APPOINTMENT - For current clients, we accept up to 20 seasonal items for consignment to The Frock Exchange by appointment. Please call us to arrange an appointment at 613 836-5556. Please note that appointment times fill up quickly.
2. DROP OFF MONDAYS - The Frock Exchange welcomes you to drop-off 5 seasonal items only on specific Mondays throughout the year. Drop off Mondays are very popular and busy. Please do not bring more than 5 items - we will not be able to look at them on this day. We invite new consignors, and current consignors to participate. Once a new consignor has set up a contract with the store on drop off Mondays, the consignor will be able to book future appointments. If you are bringing in clothes, only one item per hanger. Hangers will be returned to you. Shoes, purses and untangled jewellery should be in bags. No appointment is needed for the specific drop-off Monday.
During your consignment visit, our knowledgeable staff will thoroughly examine every item.

HELPFUL HINTS WHEN CONSIGNING ITEMS
Clothing must be on hangers. Your hangers will be returned to you. Please refrain from bringing your items in garbage bags. Clothing must be suitable for the season.
Items shall be no more than 2-3 years old and be in good, clean condition, pressed, free of odours, scents and pet fur. Take time inspecting your items before you bring them, preferably in a brightly lit room, in order to better discover any issues. Look for tears, stains, snags, dirt along cuffs and collars, intact buttons, working zippers, free of moth holes, no pilling and no tears in the lining. Empty all pockets.
Leave on labels, sales tags and dry cleaning tags.
Ask yourself, "Would I want to buy this item?"
Shoes, boots and footwear must be clean both on the inside and outside, polished and free of scuffs. Heels are not worn down. Remove any inserts. Ensure that laces are not frayed and zippers work.
Jewellery, purses, wallets, scarves, hats, designer sunglasses, gloves and belts should be in good, clean condition. Ensure that clasps are in place, and there are no missing stones. Jewellery should be sorted into small bags or boxes and not all tangled up. Purse zippers open and close easily. Empty all purse pockets, ensuring that the interior is free of debris.

WHAT HAPPENS TO UNSOLD ITEMS?
THE FROCK EXCHANGE donates all unsold items to various local charities and women's shelters, or, your items can be returned to you if request it. Please contact us at least a week in advance if you would like your items returned.
